Jean Duffus in New Lanark
I am very fortunate to have my studio and arts & craft shop in the Historic world Heritage Centre in New Lanark.
The village is very popular with tourists being a world Heritage site and in the summer time New Lanark gets extremely busy as it is a great family day out. Many overseas visitors wander round the centre and stay at the local YMCA or at the local Mill Hotel.
Many of the paintings that you can see are of the New Lanark area. I am very fortunate to be able to paint with a view of the River Clyde right outside my window.
